Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don’t plan it. Don’t wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men’s store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee.

Watched the first six episodes. I’m hooked.

Day 03 — Your favorite television program
I have two.  Is that kosher?  No?  Well, too bad.
My favorite show no longer on the air: Arrested Development.  It was a frequently absurd, always hilarious, and damn near perfect comedy series.  I have ridiculously high standards (which are rarely met) for sitcoms because of this show.My favorite show still on the air: Mad Men.  In a lot of ways, it’s Arrested Development’s polar opposite; it’s a straight-up drama, a period piece, relatively slow-paced, etc.  However, like AD, Mad Men is a flawlessly executed series that is (in my opinion) virtually perfect in every way.  I don’t normally go for dramas, but I’m beyond obsessed with this show, as those of you who follow me know all too well.  Is it August yet?!

are we kindred spirits? way to sum up two of my fav shows so well.
